Fancy and chic, Rajdhani Street is the famous restaurant’s newest next door extension, that offers chaat items, sandwiches, street food, drinks and desserts from almost every corner of India. A tad bit more pricey than other street food joints in the vicinity, Rajdhani Street is nevertheless quite affordable and makes up for that extra dime with its colorful ambiance, funky presentation and fusion dishes.

"rajdhani

Since their menu had wayyyy too much variety for my teeny tiny appetite, we decided to go with whatever the staff recommends. Read on to find out what we tried and how much we liked it >

Hara Pudina Shikanji

Sweet, sour and refreshing, just like a minty lemonade. Loved the tall glass presentation, although it made it slightly difficult to drink. The dark green hue is hard to resist.

Kulukki Sherbet

A spicy one, albeit super refreshing, this came with a green chilli inside. Loved the tangy meets spicy combination.

"rajdhani

Pav Bhaji Fondue

Just like your regular cheese pav bhaji, but with a fancy twist. I’ve tried multiple variations of this dish, and it has always impressed me. The toasted bread pieces in this one were not too buttery, so I was more than happy. And the ratio of bread to the pav bhaji portion was just right. No need for extra pav! Loved the condiments on the side, especially the chilli powder which is not so common as a side to pav bhaji.

"rajdhani

Cheese Masala Maggi

I wouldn’t be lying if I said this was my favorite dish from everything we tried at Rajdhani Street. Soemthing about Maggi I guess, it just brings back so much nostalgia, it’s very difficult to ignore. Plus I’m a big fan of NOT SOUPY Maggi, so this was just perfecto!

"rajdhani

This seemed like the exact thing from my tiffin box in school. The texture used to get just like this by the time we had our lunch breaks. Also, mom would always add something like veggies or cheese to make it more fun.

Puchka Bombs

Fried puchkas, or pani puri as it is commonly known, this Kolkata styled street food delicacy comes with a stuffing of boiled chickpeas, potatoes and the works inside of a fried puri. This is topped with a drizzle of sweet chutney and served alongside the spicy pani puri water.

"rajdhani

"rajdhani

Thepla Paneer 65 Tacos

These were the true representation of fusion. Theplas replacing tacos is the closest it can get to the real thing while still keeping it quintessentially desi. The fried paneer combined with melted cheese and all those toppings made it super filling. And after all that food, we had to pack half of these for next day’s lunch. And also because we had to eat our final street food dish which we were eyeing since the time we saw it on the menu.

"rajdhani

"rajdhani

Puneri Misal Pav

Despite being totally stuffed, there was no way we were leaving without either vada pav or misal pav. As you can see, we chose the latter. The gravy was about right, but it was that farsan on top which was way too perfect. The hot buttered buns made for the right carb. And with that presentation, well I was almost transported to the typical cart thelas that sell these back home.

"rajdhani

Fruit Custard

For desserts, we were offered a bowl of fruit custard each. While this is a favorite for many, I prefer my custard plain, so I didn’t quite enjoy it. But my plus one loved the fruits and jelly toppings so much, he didn’t have any trouble finishing both the bowls.
