Dessert Dinner at Morelli’s Gelato in Dubai Mall

When in Dubai, size matters. Be it the tallest building, the largest mall or Morelli’s Gelato.
My dessert dinner at Morelli’s in Dubai Mall was nothing short of a trip down indulgence lane which had various stops like ice cream road, chocolate street, cream station and fruit corner.

Read on to know how deliciously big the desserts at Morelli’s gelato are – both in terms of size and flavor!

Bella Nutella

We started off by downing what I would call, the chocolatiest dessert of them all.
The Bella Nutella features four different types of gelato ice creams – vanilla, chocolate, banana and Nutella – with banana pieces and a generous garnish of Piemonte hazelnuts. All this is topped with fluffy whipped cream and a little cup with Nutella sauce in it.

This dessert presents a rush of creamy and smooth flavors in every bite – be it the soft vanilla or the mushy banana. And you can never go wrong when your add Nutella to your dessert, which is what makes this chocolate perfection absolutely heavenly.

That’s how mighty delicious the Bella Nutella at Morelli’s Gelato is. If you’re a Nutella fan (well, who isn’t?), and if you love bananas, this one’s for you.

But this is not all, there are lots more Nutella lovelies at Morelli’s. This is just one big example.

Amore Cup

How adorable is this cup… Or cups!
The Amore Cup is yet another interesting and very pretty looking dessert from Morelli’s Gelato.
Highlighting the contrasts between chocolaty and fruity flavors, this dessert lets you sample the best of both with its side by side plating.

The Primo Amore Cup to the left comes with hazelnut, chocolate and vanilla gelato ice cream scoops garnished with Piemonte hazelnuts, chocolate sprinkles, Flake chocolate, and a generous whip of cream.

The more fruity Secondo Amore Cup on the right comes with berry sorbet, strawberry and vanilla gelato ice cream flavors, topped with a sprig of redcurrant, baby meringue, chocolate dipped strawberries and freshly whipped cream. Don’t miss the chocolate pipe on this one!

Perfect for sharing, this dessert caters to everyone’s palate – chocolate or fruits. If you’re only having dessert for your meal, share it between two people. If it’s after a meal, even four people might find it difficult to down this deliciousness.

Either way, it’s definitely worth a try!

Knickerbocker Glory

Next up was some fruity chocolaty indulgence with the Knickerbocker Glory. This, in my opinion, was a true star at Morelli’s Gelato.

Layering scoops of creamy strawberry, vanilla and chocolate gelato ice cream with mixed seasonal fruits like mango, watermelon, kiwi and berries, this dessert was topped with generous helpings of whipped cream drizzled with raspberry and mango coulis.

A different refreshing taste in every spoonful, this one covered everything that Morelli’s has to offer in one big glass.

Chocolate Nut Sundae

To end our indulgence journey, we decided to take the classic chocolate route.

The Chocolate Nut Sundae featured the signature chocolate, vanilla and hazelnut flavored gelato scoops.

Topped with whipped cream and garnished with Piemonte hazelnuts, it is finished with their chocolaty cup filled with melted chocolate and hazelnut sauce. The chocolate nut sundae also comes with Flake chocolate topping and is pure indulgence.
