Affordable Chinese in JLT – Yin & Yang

How much do you love Chinese fare?

If you are already drooling thinking about it, then you will be happier ordering yourself some delicious Chinese takeout from Yin & Yang.

Thanks to @hyperlinks_media I got a chance to visit their JLT branch and here’s everything we tried.

Salt & Pepper Winglets

The one thing I loved the most about the wings at Yin & Yang was the sauce. They were spicy like I always prefer my food to be, and with whole chili pieces, which made these wings just right in terms of taste and texture.
Tip: eat them with your hands.

Crispy Chili Chicken Dry

Although quite crispy, these were neither as spicy as I expected chili chicken to be (apart from the green chilli pieces scattered around), nor did it have a lot of chicken meat. on the contrary, the prices were quite slim. for the most part, I kept wondering if there was any chicken after all!

Prawn Green Chilli Soy

I wouldn’t be lying if I said these were my favorite from all the things we tried at Yin & Yang! For one I love prawns, so they better be cooked right (which they were) and two, the sauce better be spicy (which it was). All in all a good dish.

Cantonese Noodles

Quite like Chinese Chopseuy, this dish had the right mix of crunchy and soft noodles. These are topped with creamy veg & chicken mix. The only thing lacking was the flavor. A little more pepper or soy would have been great.

This restaurant has branches in JLT as well as Dubai Silicon Oasis. So if you’re in or around these areas, you might find them worth a try.
