Biryani Express | Biryani with a twist of flavors
Peppy and modern, Biryani Express located inside the Pavilion Complex of France cluster in International City is certainly a hotspot for Biryani lovers. Going beyond the usuals of chicken, mutton and seafood (while not eliminating it), this place offers a selection of contemporary biryani including the likes of omelette biryani, chilli chicken biryani, mutton kheema biryani and many more.

We started with the Gobi Mozzarella Kofta which in all fairness, were such a surprise. It was almost impossible to believe these koftas were stuffed with cauliflower. So creamy, so soft and crumb fried, they went just right with that yogurt dip on the side.
Our first Biryani from Biryani Express was the contemporary Chilli Chicken Biryani. A very unusual but rather unique fusion of two signature dishes from their respective cuisines, this was a very pleasant combination. I especially liked the layer of batter fried chilli chicken in the biryani, and the chilli chicken gravy instead of raita on the side. Almost felt like a twist to fried rice.
Classics will always remain so, which is why we had to balance fusion with tradition. Our second choice at Biryani Express was the Prawns Biryani. Featuring a layer of prawns cooked in spicy gravy, this biryani was topped with a layer of perfectly grilled shrimps. These added a finishing touch to its tempting presentation. Served alongside the classic salad and raita, this one was simply fab.
This hidden gem is a must try for more than just their biryani selection. They deliver in neighboring areas – International City, Warqa, Silicon Oasis and more; they offer a brilliant lunch menu that’s just right for the midday meal; and they have partnered with Zomato Gold to offer 1+1 on their food menu!

This one has all the qualities to become a regular for me. I lovedddd their biryani varieties to such a great extent, I want to go back and try them all. Twist or no twist, their biryani rice tastes really good and comes across as freshly made. Highly recommend their Gobi Mozzarella Kofta and Shrimps biryani
