Kebab Bistro | Parsi Restaurant Review By Dubai Blogger Rashida

Kebab Bistro | Karama

Breakfast goals right here! A few days back we decided to step out of the comfort of our home for a Friday morning breakfast and ended up at Kebab Bistro in Karama. A very humble outlet. decked with memorabilia from the Parsi community, this restaurant serves up an amazing and surprisingly affordable variety of quintessential Parsi delicacies.

Since we were there for breakfast, we decided to go with some of their classics and chose the traditional Akuri and Kheema Pav, along with a side of Brun Maska and chai.

Akuri, the Parsi version of scrambled eggs was super creamy. Priced at AED 20, this dish comes with a side of hash browns, sausages and brun maska. If you’re from Bombay, or have been acquainted with Parsi food, you’ll know how much of legacy is associated with Brun Maska. A close cousin of Bun Maska, this one comes with crumpet bread that’s got more of a crunch and tastes like a match made in heaven along with butter and tea on the side.

Kheema Pav, another tradition in its own right, featured the most perfectly spiced mince served with soft buttered bread. It might seem a rather unusual choice to many people when it comes to eating minced mutton for breakfast, but truly this is one of the most delicious and filling breakfast items. Priced at AED 15, it is more than enough for one person and is great to share if you’re having other items from the menu.

Make sure you head over to this hidden gem in Karama next Friday and fill up your hearts and tummies with the most important meal of the day. Kebab Bistro also serves a Parsi lunch buffet on weekends priced at AED 49 per person. If you are not a morning person, but still want to sample some really good Parsi food, then this will make a great choice.

#RashidaReviews

I loved every little thing about Kebab Bistro, mainly because it reminded me so much about Bombay when it was Bombay. The breakfast items I tried were really good, and if I had the appetite, I would have ordered everything off the menu. I will most certainly be going back to try out items from their main menu as well.
